When is the right time to start your healing journey?
Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, you will know, the bad news is only you will know. Right?
No.
You might never know.
But you will feel it. In your heart, in your belly, in your bones.
You are probably feeling it already.
When are you ready to take the longest and most rewarding journey of your life? It will be from your head to your heart. 20 agonizing inches.
You will feel it. You are feeling it. It might resemble a pressure cooker, or complete numbness, depression, anxiety. Or the signs might show up as illness, bankruptcy, addictions, divorce, accidents, anger management issues. Pain, Pain, pain. The only thing we naked apes listen to is pain. Hints, subtle signs are ignored. Rest assured, Great Spirit can and will get very creative, when it comes to bringing you to your knees.
H. Almaas writes:
“Your conflicts, all the difficult things, the problematic situations in your life are not chance or haphazard. They are actually yours. They are specifically yours, designed specifically for you by a part of you that loves you more than anything else. The part of you that loves you more than anything else has created roadblocks to lead you to yourself.”
Or to get a bit more practical: The shit that used to work, doesn’t. Life is like a pebble in your shoes. A growing pebble.
No passion, joy, or real connections. Ill, lonely, shut down, depressed. Meeting unmet real human needs such as freedom, selfassuredness, ease, connectredness, excitement, joy and success through excessive work, Netflix binges, scrolling, porn, alcohol, gambling, gaming, shopping.
Looking for security in a job, a partner, money, yet still feeling insecure, anxious 24\7.
When responsibilities, guilt, selflimiting beleifs, internalised parental tyranny and shame tame your inner free wild man. Life.

You are ready when the hell you know scares you more than the future unknown.
Boom! Fortune cookie worthy wisdom shared! Yet, this is all there is to it.
The beginning of this pilgrimage towards yourself will be super confusing, scary and messy. It’s meant to be.
A shedding snake, leaving shreds if it’s outgrown skin behind. Brave, yet soft and vulnerable.
Need to find a rock! That rock is you. Rock on!
